Guido Argentini < SILVEREYE >

Guido Argentini’s first book “SILVEREYE” in 2003, presented an exquisite series of studio and landscape nudes; a reflection of the artist’s great personal passion for sculpture and dance.

Guido Argentini was born in Florence, Italy. He studied Medicine for three years at the university of Florence. At 23 he decided to turn his passion for photography into a profession and started to shoot fashion and beauty. Since 1990 he lives in the USA, in Los Angeles . His work has been published by some of the leading magazines in the world such as MarieClaire, Men’s Health, Playboy, Vogue, Max, Maxim and many others.
These charged images by Guido Argentini are both sophisticated and raw, with a dark and extremely refined glamour all of their own. This body of work is drawn from the personal projects of Guido Argentini.
Voyeristic and erotic, Guido Argentini blurs the boundaries between public and private spaces. From the Boudoir to the Private Room series, Argentini evokes beauty through the play of light and dark, and balance through composition. The silver eye nudes reflect a similar style of balance and harmony while the reflection series takes a poignant and intimate portrayal of the individual.
