Before being released films go through some kind of post-production. That may involve editing the footage itself, adding visual effects and enhancing audio, either by blending professionally or with dubbing. When it comes to the world of adult entertainment, the rules are the same. The scenes are cut and sewn back together, titles and effects are added for the menus and intros and the audio is often enhanced or recorded separately and later incorporated.
But how can you recreate the sounds that make people fucking without actually fucking? Unless it has been recorded extraordinarily well during the original recording (almost never happens, because it's difficult and expensive), you must create the panting, shouting, grunting, groans, etceteras later.
