Omar Ortiz is a hyper realist painter based out of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
He creates oil on canvas paintings of nude female forms following suit of the classic masters executed in contemporary fashion and style.
"Since I started painting I have always tried to represent things as real as I can, sometimes I do it and others do not but what is a fact is that for me it is very difficult to do the opposite. I greatly enjoy the challenge of reproducing the skin tones with natural light and the nuances it gives us, particularly in very bright environments. I like to keep the simplicity in my pieces."
